J. W. Githens Company is a highway and bridge general contractor based in Poplar Bluff,
Missouri.  The company has been in business for over 60 years and works primarily in Southeast Missouri
and Northeast Arkansas.  We provide construction services to the Missouri DOT, Arkansas DOT, US Army
Corp of Engineers, and various counties in the region.    

Our construction experience includes:  bridges, roads, general excavation/grading, and water tank
foundations.  We also have a large inventory of bridge material (I-beams, pre-cast concrete units, and steel
bridge units) available for sale or as part of a turn-key installation for public, private, or farm projects.
